I had an extremely high-stakes, tight-turnaround project where I needed complex prints for a prototype device within 12 hrs of providing the designs. Voxel Magic took the project and the owner, John, did a truly excellent job. He was easily contactable, reliable and flexible. He has deep knowledge of 3D printing and was able to get a really high print quality on our parts through skillful choice of print orientation. Pricing was reasonable and transparent. Being able to work directly with the owner made all of this possible - corporate 3D printing suppliers just couldn't handle the turnaround requirement.

I came to Voxel Magic after a horrible experience with another company in Brooklyn. I told John (owner) what happen and he ensured me to count on him for this project. I sent him my designs to look at and he gave me a quote right away of the 3 pieces that I needed to print, great pricing and amazing quality. John is quick to respond and parts can be delivered on a very quick turn time. Voxel Magic is a great choice if you don't have time to get the weird 3D printer in your lab working, takes about 20 minutes to get there by train from Midtown. My experience with Voxel Magic has been less than great. Last year , when my first order was completed, I received email asking when I would be picking up. Since I had prepaid for shipping, and live over 1000 miles away this was troubling. I immediately replied back, and a few days later was able to confirm that a shipment would take place, and subsequently it did.
About 3 to 4 weeks ago I re-contacted John to inquire about another order. He got back to me a few days later with a brief answer stating that the product was still available. Since then, I have sent him 2 emails with very simple questions about completing my second order. They remain unanswered, completely unreplied to.
I will now contact the company that I worked with prior to Voxel. They are more expensive, but much more responsive, with better follow up. Hi
